Funeral and memorial donations

Many families choose to ask for donations to charity instead of, or alongside, flowers at a funeral or memorial service.

If you have collected donations in memory of a loved one, including cash donations, please get in touch and we can provide our BACS details so you can transfer the funds to us.

The family has decided to accept donations in lieu of flowers to two charities, one being the ADSHG, which was a lifeline following Bil's diagnosis in 1982.

Fundraise in memory

Organising a fundraising event or taking on a personal challenge can be a meaningful way to honour someone you have lost.

Whether you choose a sponsored run, a challenge, a community event or your own fundraising idea, your efforts can help support people affected by adrenal insufficiency, including Addison’s disease.

Thanks again for all the fantastic work you do as a charity, and for your support throughout our fundraising. It’s been a privilege to raise money for such an important cause in Mike’s memory.

In my mum's honour, for the funeral, we requested donations from friends and family to support the ADSHG. We hope that our donations can support other people with this disease and can help impact the charity positively.

Your support makes a difference

Every donation made in memory of a loved one helps the ADSHG continue its work to support the adrenal insufficiency community.

Your support helps us raise awareness, improve adrenal crisis care and ensure more people with adrenal insufficiency, including Addison’s disease, are aware, prepared and understood.

Thank you for choosing to remember someone special by supporting the ADSHG.
