Phone line

Unfortunately, we are a small team, working remotely and often irregular hours, and do not currently have the resources to support a phone line.  This is something that we review regularly, as we understand that for some people, it is much easier to be able to talk to someone.  

For the time-being, we ask for your understanding in contacting us by email or through our online forms, which also gives us a helpful record of your enquiry.  Please note that any phone numbers you find 'linked' to the charity as part of an online search are staff personal phone numbers and should not be used for ADSHG enquiries.

Timescales

Again, as a small team, and as some of our enquiries are managed by volunteers, we are not always able to respond quickly, especially when we have staff on leave. 

We will always aim to respond within 5 working days for membership, shop and general enquiries, including feedback and complaints.  For other forms of enquiry, we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Patient Safety Event

If you have concerns about your care and have experienced a patient safety event, you can anonymously share it with us. We can't get involved individually but your experience shows us where more focus is needed.

Question for other people with Addison's or adrenal insufficiency

Our online community platform is there for all members to use, to ask questions of and seek support from other people who understand what living with adrenal insufficiency is like.

Please take a moment to read about how we will process and protect any personal data you give us. Occasionally, we may need to share personal data with our suppliers to process your query or to provide other services to you.

  • Never to release your personal details to another company for their marketing purposes
  • To always respect your communication preferences
  • The data you submit to us will only be used for the purposes of answering your enquiry. If you include information of a sensitive nature e.g. about your health status, you consent to us seeing and using that information for the purposes of answering your query only.
